The Houses of Faiss was inspired by the The Ron Clark Academy in Atlanta, Georgia. On September 4, 2007, the academy opened its doors to their inaugural class of middle-school students to deliver, "the highest quality educational experience using advanced rigor within a passionate climate and culture."  

It is the academy's mission and vision that the Faiss community shares and builds its Flyer 15 program upon.
